Youth camp sessions will be Tuesday-Friday from 9 am to 3pm for the four days. Students will receive: cooking tools (chef’s knife, paring knife, cutting boards),specific to their course, an apron and bandana to start them on their cooking journey.
Returning students will receive upgrades to their existing kit.
Day 1: Food safety, kitchen rules, introduction to knives/tool kit, and cooking hygiene. As well as preparing griddle sandwiches and juice/smoothie blends. Preparing and cooking a breakfast.
Day 2: preparing and baking dessert items and fire safety for grilling.
Day 3 : Preparing and cooking chicken and beef.
